French-inspired kitchen renovation

Distressed, worn-looking cabinetry is a HOT trend right now, and Plover designer Robin Laabs is currently in the process of designing a kitchen and mudroom renovation that is sure to make any cottage- or modern farmhouse-style lover swoon.

Robin said she can’t exactly pinpoint a term to describe the client’s style, but the look is inspired by a recent trip to France. For this lake home in Stevens Point, the homeowner has chosen Heritage series Knotty Alder Dura Supreme cabinetry, which is designed to resemble a cherished family heirloom.

Robin said that one project has led to another during this renovation, and this work-in-progress should be complete by June. You can look for finished photos in an upcoming edition. See on Facebook.

New WBS App Launch to Include Online Ordering

Wisconsin Building Supply is always working harder so you don’t have to. That’s why later this year we’ll roll out version 3.0 of our mobile app, and it will be full of new and updated features – including our most-requested capability – that you won’t want to miss.

The latest version of the Wisconsin Building Supply app will launch this fall, and we’re excited about the advanced features we’ll be able to bring to you wherever you are, including the ability to order online and schedule online orders.

The new version of the app will be available for Apple and Android devices on a variety of platforms – computer, tablet, and smartphone. It will include features that are guaranteed to save you, the professional contractor, time and money.

Customer feedback has indicated that the most-often requested feature in our app would be the ability to order product directly through the app, and version 3.0 will make that request a reality. The app will also feature product-information catalogs and will include access to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), which are required by OSHA to be available at construction jobsites.

To make your accounting easier, invoices will be available through the app for direct download to QuickBooks. In addition, the app will have YouTube capability for viewing “How To” videos.

If you haven’t yet downloaded our app, you won’t want to wait any longer. Current app features include: delivery notifications – with jobsite photos – when your orders arrive; easy access to invoices, including the ability to view upcoming bills, see line-by-line items on invoices, and sort invoices by job; and notifications of upcoming WBS events and psromotions.
