A Modern Kitchen in a Downtown Milwaukee Loft

A Modern Kitchen in a Downtown Milwaukee Loft

When a trendy, young professional purchased this downtown Milwaukee loft, it wasn’t set up for entertaining, and it didn’t give off the vibe she was looking for. She decided a complete overhaul was in order, so she worked with WBS Sussex designer Alisha Kamuchey to bring a fresh, functional feel to the kitchen of this condo with beautiful city views.

In order to draw attention to — and take advantage of — the condo’s tall ceilings, Alisha used Dura Supreme Cabinetry in the Homestead door profile, painted Pearl, and extended them all the way to the ceiling. The symmetry of the wall cabinets flanking the microwave is appealing to the eye, and the funky backsplash and pendant lights add a splash of color.

The countertops are Zodiaq quartz in London Sky, and the extra-large island is fitted with a single-bowl undermount sink. The tall pantry cabinet features convenient roll-out drawers, and there is an integrated double waste basket next to the sink. Built in wine storage on the end of the island adds a fun, functional touch.

Innovation

The Most Innovative Building Product at IBS 2017 is Now Available at WBS

The Most Innovative Building Product at IBS 2017 is Now Available at WBS

There is no better place than the NAHB International Builders Show to find the best, most innovative and functional products the industry has to offer. In January 2017, judges at the show awarded the “Most Innovative Building Product” to Regal Aluminum Railing with LED lights by Regal Ideas Inc., a product Wisconsin Building Supply is now bringing to you.

According to judges at the 2017 IBS show, Regal Aluminum Railings with LED lights are easy to install, and the integrated LED lighting defines the edges of the railing system and “ups the cool factor.” We couldn’t agree more.

As a leading manufacturer of aluminum deck railing systems for more than 30 years, Regal Ideas isn’t new to the building industry, but they are new to WBS. When we saw them in action at the the 2017 IBS show, we knew they were a product we needed to offer to you and your customers.

With multiple different product offerings, Regal Ideas will have a style of deck rail that will complement your customer’s home. Made from 100 percent pure high-strength aluminum and baked with a premium UV powder coat finish, a Regal Ideas aluminum railing system will always look as good as the first day it was installed.

Regal Ideas aluminum railing systems are building-code approved and are available in five colors. The patented locking system makes installation quick and easy, while the decorative options — like LED lights, frameless glass railing, and wood infill — allow your customers to customize their railing to match their home’s personality.

Are You Using the Free Visualizer to Promote Your Business?

Are You Using the Free Visualizer to Promote Your Business?

A recent survey showed that 85 percent of homeowners think visualizers are an important tool when embarking upon a remodeling project. The ability to see with their own eyes what their completed project will look like is often a deciding factor in whether a homeowner will pull the trigger and go through with a remodel or new build. If you haven’t had a chance to see ours in action, you must experience the WBS Visualizer, which we offer to you free of charge.

The Wisconsin Building Supply Visualizer is a design tool that puts your client’s plans and ideas into pictures.

Technology allows us to give you, the builder, direct access to your own Visualizer account. This helps your clients choose finishes like cabinetry and windows, so they get a real feel for what their home will look like before the design phase is even complete. In turn, you’re rewarded with happier clients and fewer change orders, which saves time and keeps your building schedule on track.

The days of simply comparing color swatches and floor samples are a thing of the past. While we still have traditional showrooms full of gorgeous kitchen and bath displays, and your clients are still free to pour over our endless samples, this design tool is much more innovative than ever before.

The free WBS Visualizer is exactly what you and your clients need to put into picture form what your mind has been dreaming about. We encourage you to use this free, important feature as a sales tool when promoting your business; it will keep you a step ahead of the competition. Take it for a spin here.
